Our year came to a splendid close with a grand Christmas dinner hosted at the iconic Tamarind Restaurant, Mombasa. The evening was marked by elegance, camaraderie, and culinary excellence befitting the traditions of the Chaîne.

Induction Ceremony
The evening began with a formal Induction Ceremony celebrating new members joining our fraternity. It was officiated by Bailli Délégué Shabnam Nayer in her capacity as a Member of the Conseil Magistral. We were delighted to welcome Nairobi members, alongside nine new OMGD (Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs) inductions, strengthening our vibrant community.

Dinner highlights
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to an exceptional dinner experience curated by Tamarind’s renowned culinary team. The menu showcased artistry and flavour, perfectly paired with fine wines, leaving members with lasting memories of the evening.

Fellowship and warmth
Attendance included a strong representation from Mombasa members, complemented by our Nairobi comrades. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with the spirit of friendship that defines the Chaîne. The event unfolded seamlessly, a testament to the dedication and passion of all involved.

This closing event for 2025 was not only a celebration of the Festive Season but also a reaffirmation of our shared values: gastronomy, fellowship, and tradition. With new members inducted and bonds strengthened, we look forward to an inspiring year ahead.
