National Finals of the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs and Jeunes Sommeliers

" With a bit of 'skill and luck' one of the young chefs and one of the young sommeliers will soon be representing the Bailliage of Germany in the respective International Finals "

In 2026, both national finals for the Bailliage of Germany will take place on the same day and at the same location. This will give the competitors and their supporters the opportunity to network and exchange ideas.

The young Chefs and Sommeliers have the opportunity to win great prizes and take this valuable experience with them into their professional career.

National Final of the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition
A jury evaluates a three-course menu for four people created by the young chefs from a provided basket of ingredients. Each course is assessed based on presentation and appearance, creativity and originality, as well as taste. In addition, cleanliness of the workstation, handling of products, and professionalism in working methods and cooking techniques are evaluated.

National Final of the Jeunes Sommeliers Competition
A jury evaluates the young sommeliers in both a theoretical and a practical examination, including a wine tasting. Among other things, guest interaction and service are assessed, as well as the knowledge related to the profession of a sommelier.

With a bit of “skill and luck” one of the young chefs and one of the young sommeliers will soon be representing the Bailliage of Germany in the respective International Finals.
