23 Competitors taking part in the International Final

The 2026 International Final of the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition is in its final planning stages.
We are pleased to welcome 23 international competitors to this prestigious event. The participating countries include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Kenya, Macau SAR China, Mexico, Norway, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, and USA.
Our programme will commence with the Official Welcome Dinner on April 16th. The next day we will visit and tour of the Spice Bazaar and the Malatya Bazaar to sample Turkish coffee and have lunch. This will be followed by a briefing for all competitors at Le Cordon Bleu at Ozyegin University, with dinner hosted by Le Cordon Bleu at their campus.
The next morning will begin early with the first flight of competitors heading to Le Cordon Bleu at 4.30am! After the competition, we will proceed to Şans Restaurant for dinner, hosted by Executive Chef Rudolf van Nunen, Grand Officier Maître Rôtisseur.
Following the competitor debriefing on Sunday morning, we will embark on the Swissôtel Bosphorus boat for a harbour tour and lunch. This will be followed by the Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner at the Swissôtel Bosphorus.
We are honoured to welcome members of the Jury and Committee from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Great Britain, Hungary, Macau SAR China, Norway, Sweden, South Africa, and Türkiye. These jury members are traveling at their own expense, and we are grateful for their dedication to our young chefs.
Our appreciation goes to Le Cordon Bleu Istanbul Director Defne Tüysüzoğlu, Vice-Conseiller Gastronomique of Istanbul, for hosting the competition once again. We are grateful for their ongoing support not only in Istanbul but internationally.
Our thanks also go to Yves Léon, Bailli Délégué of the National Bailliage of Türkiye and a Member of the Conseil Magistral, for hosting the competition for the fourth time in 15 years. We appreciate the support of Yves and his team.
