Summing up our dining towards the end of 2025

" We are now looking forward to an exciting programme of events in 2026! "

Posting of all our events was delayed due to the tragic fires in our hometown in November, which resulted in the loss of over 100 lives and many casualties. Accordingly, out of respect for the victims we decided to pause our usual event announcements and social media posts for a couple of months.

October 21, 2025 - our first official event
The first official Bailliage of Hong Kong SAR China event after summer took place on October 21, 2025 in RU, the new flagship Chinese restaurant in the Nina Hotel. It was my first event since being promoted to Bailli Délégué. All members were so excited and enjoyed a great evening together.

Chargée de Presse Bernice Liu wrote: “A beautiful collection of captured moments from our “Seasons of Collaboration: A Culinary Celebration” that took place at RU. We embraced the season’s spirit of harvest and togetherness with a culinary experience by Executive Chef Maître Rôtisseur Simon Wong, who skilfully created a sanctuary of refined Cantonese dining. Our Échanson, Magi Lin, completed the experience with her thoughtfully selected wine pairings, designed to dance in perfect harmony with each culinary creation.”

November 18, 2025 - an OMGD event
Our second event was an OMGD (Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustatuers) Master Talk Luncheon on November 18, 2025, featuring Château Pichon Baron & Château Suduiraut - both part of the prestigious portfolio of the AXA Millésimes Group. The venue was the acclaimed restaurant ‘Huso’ in The Pottinger Hotel.

Chargée de Presse Bernice Liu wrote: “The Master Talk was the last OMGD event before the holidays. It was a most enjoyable luncheon for 38 Chaîne members. We were honoured to have Nicolas Santier, who leads the Development of Inbound and Wine Tourism at Château Pichon Baron and Château Suduiraut within the Greater Bordeaux Metropolitan Area, guide us through an in-depth exploration and tasting of the different flavours and characteristics of the two prestige wine estates. The wines were paired with a specially curated menu by renowned Chef Chan Wai Ting. He certainly gave us a culinary experience to remember.”

December 9, 2025 - a Pre-Christmas “Family” Dinner
The Poolhouse at the Grand Hyatt Hotel was chosen for our Pre-Christmas “Family Gathering” Dinner Party on December 9, 2025.

Chargée de Presse Bernice Liu wrote: “The Festive Season was in full swing at this lovely evening at the stunning Poolhouse of the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. A remarkable gastronomic journey, where the hotel’s acclaimed chefs presented an extraordinary “East meets West” menu, designed to delight the senses and showcase the very best for the holidays! As the night continued, outside by the pool we enjoyed some whiskies sponsored by our Chaîne reserve and cigars where our confrère Bertie presented a selection from Azan, El Septimo, Matilde and Confidenciaal ... very much enjoyed by all!”
