From June 18-21, 2026, Portugal will welcome members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs for the “Grand Chapitre Portugal 2026”, a four-day “Chaîne Nature” celebration of fine cuisine, wine heritage, and convivial spirit unfolding across Lisbon, the Bairrada wine region, and Porto.

The event opens on Thursday 18th in Lisbon with a Tuk-Tuk journey through the city’s historic neighbourhoods, where authentic taverns offer a first taste of traditional Portuguese flavours. The welcome garden dinner, curated by Chef Vítor Adão, brings together seasonal ingredients, contemporary creativity, and deep respect for culinary heritage - setting the tone for the days ahead.

On Friday 19th, participants travel to the renowned Bairrada wine region for an outdoor gathering at the Luís Pato winery. Surrounded by vineyards, guests will discover the region’s celebrated wines, and enjoy the emblematic roast suckling pig in a relaxed countryside atmosphere that highlights the natural generosity of Portugal’s gastronomy.

That evening in Porto, the programme continues with “Flavours from the Sea” at Proua, a relaxed dinner celebrating Portugal’s Atlantic identity through traditional seafood dishes, hosted by fellow members Lídia Brás and Fernando Araújo.

On Saturday 20th, the experience deepens with tastings in historic Port wine cellars and a visit to Mercado do Bolhão to discover the richness of local produce. The celebration culminates in the Induction Ceremony and Gala Dinner overlooking the Douro River - an elegant evening honouring tradition, excellence and the enduring fellowship of the Confrérie.

The Grand Chapitre concludes on Sunday 21st with a farewell brunch at Altis Porto, offering a final moment of relaxed refinement.
