Strengthening the bonds of friendship
" in accordance with the traditions of the Chaîne, the ceremony reaffirmed the values of fellowship, excellence, and the preservation of culinary heritage "
The 29th Chapitre of the Bailliage Provincial of Kanto, incorporating the Annual General Meeting, Induction Ceremony, and a Gala Dinner, was held at the historic Tokyo Kaikan in Marunouchi.
Founded in 1922, Tokyo Kaikan is one of Japan’s most prestigious and distinguished banquet venues, long associated with state functions, official ceremonies, and refined gastronomic occasions. Its elegant and dignified setting provided an exceptional backdrop for this year’s Chapitre.
Approximately 200 members and guests attended the event. In addition to members from across Japan, representatives from the Bailliage of Beijing, China, were present, creating a truly international atmosphere and strengthening bonds of fellowship among participants.
During the Annual General Meeting, members reviewed the past year’s activities and shared perspectives on future initiatives for the Bailliage.
The Induction Ceremony marked an important highlight of the evening. Seven new board members were appointed, and approximately 65 members were inducted. Conducted in accordance with the traditions of the Chaîne, the ceremony reaffirmed the values of fellowship, excellence, and the preservation of culinary heritage.
The Gala Dinner followed under the theme “Tokyo à la classique”, featuring a refined menu rooted in classical French gastronomy with a distinctive Tokyo sensibility. Guests enjoyed an elegant culinary experience paired with carefully selected wines.
