Nine Ambassadors to Denmark received their ribbons

On February 22, 2026, the Bailliage of Denmark held a daytime Chapitre and luncheon at Søllerød Kro, the Michelin 1-star inn in Holte, just north of Copenhagen. The daytime format was chosen in consideration of the demanding schedules of members of the diplomatic corps.

The occasion marked the induction of nine Ambassadors to Denmark into the Chaîne with the grade of Chevalier d’Honneur.

At Søllerød Kro Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Finland, Romania, Serbia and Spain received their ribbons during the formal ceremony. Unable to attend on the day, the Ambassadors of Indonesia and Switzerland were inducted at brief pre-Chapitres held at their respective residences.

Interest in the Chaîne within the diplomatic community in Denmark continues to develop steadily. Several former Ambassadors who were active members during their posting in Copenhagen have continued their involvement with the Chaîne in their subsequent countries of accreditation. This continuity reflects our association’s capacity to create meaningful local connections through gastronomy.

Through these ambassadorial memberships, the Bailliage of Denmark has further strengthened its engagement with the international community in Copenhagen. Over time, this has led to reciprocal gastronomic initiatives - including garden receptions, tastings and restaurant visits highlighting national culinary traditions - reinforcing the spirit of fellowship that defines the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
