Celebrating the achievements of women
" the Chaîne celebrates its women members across the world "
Marked annually on March 8th International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
IWD has occurred for well over a century. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere and all IWD activity is valid. That’s what makes IWD so inclusive.
The IWD 2026 campaign theme is “Give To Gain”. It is intended to encourage a mindset of generosity and collaboration. Give To Gain emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. The approach being that when women thrive, we all rise. Women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.
