What a great lunch event celebrating World Chaîne Day at the Old Crown Coaching Inn in Faringdon.

Not often do we go to a venue that can trace its routes back to 15th century England. Owner Nick Evans did a lovely talk about the history of the Inn.

It was a very international afternoon in keeping with Chaîne camaraderie. Fittingly, we had members from Bermuda, France and Spain as well as the UK who came together to celebrate.

The food and wine pairings were excellent. Our friends from Cava Giro in Spain provided their great Cava to start proceedings. They also gave an informative talk.

As is our tradition, many of us continued well into the evening and it was really quite good that most stayed overnight at the venue!

We would like to thank all those who came from so far. We would also like to compliment Nick and Simone Evans our hosts and all their team for such a wonderful event.
