Dear fellow members of the Chaîne

On the occasion of World Chaîne Day celebrated globally on Saturday, April 25th, I would like to extend to each of you my warmest greetings and sincere appreciation.

Every year, this special day brings us together in the true spirit of our Chaîne celebrating gastronomy, fellowship and the joy of sharing exceptional moments around the table. It has always been a cherished tradition for our Bailliage of Kuwait to mark this occasion with a memorable gathering.

However, due to the current situation in the region and with the safety and well-being of our members remaining our utmost priority, it was with much regret that we were not be able to organise our usual celebration this year.

While we may not have met in person, the values that unite us - friendship, passion for the culinary arts and the spirit for gastronomy - remain stronger than ever. On this day I invite each of you to reflect on these values, perhaps sharing a quiet moment or a meal with your loved ones in the spirit of the Chaîne.

Let us look forward with hope and optimism to the time when we can once again gather, celebrate and create unforgettable memories together.

Until then, please stay safe and take good care of yourselves and your families.
