For the first time, we celebrated World Chaîne Day together in the north when Sweden’s Bailliage of Norrbotten and Norway’s Bailliage d’Arctique came together in Boden, Sweden, for a weekend filled with gastronomy, community and experiences.

Highlights included:

DG11
An amazing dining experience at DG11 with Maître Rôtisseur James Thompson and his incredible team. Hotel Drottninggatan 11 is located in a beautiful turn-of-the-century building in the heart of central Boden. Its gastropub-style restaurant “DG11” is a fantastic place with excellent drinks, food and staff!

Bryggmastarn
A nice lunch at Bryggmastarn (lit. Brewmaster), a classic brewpub with a modern touch where we had a fun and an interesting beer tasting curated by Rikard and Amanda. We got to discover new flavours, hear exciting stories and really immerse ourselves in the world of beer in an inspiring and entertaining way. The lunch was topped off with a very good moose schnitzel.

Sörbyn Lodge
Located in the middle of nature 30 minutes’ drive from Boden town centre, what an evening it was at Sörbyn Lodge with Maître Rôtisseur Pavlos Merkouris and the team. Absolutely perfect Nordic dishes, elegantly combined with selected wines. The Lodge strives to offer a welcoming environment, we certainly felt at home!

Celebrating World Chaîne Day with our Norwegian friends from the Bailliage d'Arctique made for an event filled with community, flavours and memories to carry with us for a long time to come.
