On the beautiful Dar es Salaam coast, the Bailliage members and their guests gathered for a casual evening of wine, barbecue and chats at The Grand Waves Beach House.

Members sipped on Boschendal Elgin Sauvignon Blanc and Sutherland Pinot Noir as the resort’s team passed around bruschetta, halloumi sticks, chicken skewers and prawn bites.

After an hour of chit chat as the sun was setting, members took to the Braai, grilling up lobster, red snapper, beef fillet, king prawns and calamari.

The BBQ got heated as our four volunteers showed off their impressive grilling skills in their custom-made aprons, adding a fun competitive spirit to the evening.

The conversation around the dinner table was buzzing with 28 members and 12 guests, a record turnout! For dessert the team served chocolate eclair which was fluffy and absolute perfection.

We were proud to award the chefs and team the Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the Bailliage for a beautifully managed evening.
