Perfect start to the tenure of our new Bailli Délégué
To begin the year we started with the presentation of our new Bailli Délégué, Rosa Román, a young woman with a lot of desire to work and do important things for the good of the Chaîne in Spain.
Combining with culture with gastronomy we first visited the “Sorolla and the Paris years” exhibition at the Sorolla Museum and then enjoyed a magnificent dinner at the restaurant “El Barril de Orense”. A member of the Oter Group, it is acknowledged as one of the best restaurants in Madrid and known for specialising in fish.
The menu was prepared for the occasion by Chef Jayson Benítez. In classic Oter Group style he conjured up a traditional menu for a Madrid evening.

Continuing, Rosa paid tribute to the management and staff of the El Barril de Orense for their part in a marvellous evening. She concluded by saying how pleased she was that everyone was delighted with the marriage of art and gastronomy.
