Enjoy Hungary’s culinary and cultural heritage
Our 30th Anniversary celebration begins with a pre-programme all day coach tour on Wednesday, September 11th to discover the wines and the city of Eger.
The formal four days of the Grand Chapitre commence on Thursday 12th with a Welcoming Dinner in the Sir Lancelot Restaurant where a “Medieval Feast” will take us back to the roots of the Chaîne. This unique event will be followed by a magnificent sightseeing tour of breath-taking Budapest at night.
Friday’s event will be an excursion to Törley, the most famous sparkling wine producer in Hungary. The tour will continue with an insight into the famous Hungarian horse-riding traditions and a traditional rural lunch.
A “Taste of Budapest” sightseeing tour is the feature of the daytime on the Saturday, taking in the 100-year-old Great Market Hall, the Parliament and a light lunch including traditional dishes served in a modern way.
That evening the Induction Ceremony and Gala Dinner are being hosted by the Art Deco style Corinthia Hotel Budapest.
After all the visits and dining Sunday is initially dedicated to relaxation in the Corinthia Hotel’s Royal Spa. However, a Grand Chapitre in Budapest would not be complete without a visit to Heroes Square and a farewell lunch at Gundel Restaurant where the famous experience includes traditional dishes served in an exceptional ambiance.
