Preparing our young chef for Calgary
" In making this journey Vito told us he feels the real conviviality and support of the Chaîne "
At the Bailliage’s National Final of the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition, Vito Mory was selected to be our young chef going forward to International Final in September. [Ed. See separate article]
To hone his skills and expand his experience we have decided to take Vito on a road trip around the country during which every week he is welcomed by one of our Professional members.
In this way he will be as well prepared as possible for Calgary. The goal being not only Vito’s personal success by keeping him in the winning spirit but also to put Belgium on the map as a Bailliage that counts.
We have appointed Maître Rôtisseur Bruno Elsier as Vito’s “personal trainer”. He accompanies him to each Professional member establishment where Vito gets a black box and goes in action with help and advice being offered as appropriate.
In making this journey Vito told us he feels the real conviviality and support of the Chaîne. In turn he has become an excellent ambassador for the association with other youngsters.
