Bailli Délégué was member of panel of judges
At a Master Chef Competition held in Mombasa Bailli Délégué Shabnam Nayer was invited to be one of three judges.
The Competition was organised by the Hindu Council of Mombasa and had 25 entries each comprising of 4 participants.
They had to make a salad, kebabs incorporating aubergines and a traditional rice course called “khichdi” but with a slight twist where this had to be a fusion dish.
The other judges were Sous-Chef Kunal from the Intercontinental Hotel Nairobi and Priti Malde who is a traditional food connoisseur.
Shabnam said it was a wonderful experience and that she ensured the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs was very much in the spotlight!
