In 2000 we opened our Restaurante Portomarín in Hamburg-Winterhude. Our vision to introduce and establish fine Spanish cuisine and wine culture in Germany being our motivation to this day.
We take personal care of our guests, their well-being is a matter close to our hearts. Quality without compromise is our credo. Our Jamón de Bellota 100% Ibérico Ham SUMMUM 2018 “Selección Portomarin” from Cumbres Mayores in Jabugo is unsurpassed. Given its legendary reputation we import it exclusively.
We buy fresh fruit and vegetables every day of the year - preferably with our own cargo bike at the local weekly markets. High-quality Spanish products such as olive oils and spices are the basis for our creations. Of course, we bake our daily bread ourselves and serve it warm from the oven.
For over 35 years, “fine Spanish wines” have been the passion of patron Jesús. During the recent lockdowns we expanded this area of our business. Without further ado, the restaurant became “Portomarin del Vino wine boutique”. Within Hamburg we deliver with our “wine taxi” as well as shipping our wines throughout Germany.
We are happy to put together gift boxes with Spanish delicacies and wines according to your wishes. Our out-of-home concept offers our “Portomarin Feinschmecker-Paellas” and other classics that we consider take-away-so that you can also enjoy our kitchen to the full at home.
When COVID-19 regulations permit let us tempt you. From romantic dinners to business lunches and family celebrations, we offer you the right setting for all occasions in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. Interesting for your business dinner: our service is polyglot. We are happy to pamper you and your guests in English, French and Portuguese in addition to German and Spanish.
