A small coterie of members and their guests enjoyed a delightful atmosphere as they mingled at Le Pescatore in Trou aux Biches. The soft breeze on the varangue [Ed. creole for veranda] with the gentle lapping of waves created an atmosphere to savour.

The evening started with a cocktail reception during which Champagne Mandois Blanc de Blancs 1er Cru 2015 was served. For many attendees, this event marked a return to the Chaîne after the national COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions imposed this year. Much camaraderie was shared as a result.

The fine and imaginative cuisine of Executive Chef Pramod Gobin awakened our senses. His incredible talent was revealed through a menu composed of seafood and local products of irreproachable quality. Everyone indulged in the delights of the moment!

Once we were seated, Échanson Jeff Thomé with new member Professionnel du Vin Alexandre Junca, briefly described the exceptional wines that awaited us.

As the evening drew to a close, Bailli Délégué Kareena Neisius congratulated Manager Odile Chevreau as well as Executive Chef Pramod, together with all the staff, for a wonderfully executed dinner.

The event was in perfect harmony. The strong camaraderie, which contributed to make the evening a huge success, clearly demonstrated the special privileges available to all Chaîne members.
