An evening in Paradise
" another successful Chaîne event enjoyed by everyone "

Bailliage members were delighted to meet again at Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel nestled in a perfect serene corner in the north of Mauritius.

The evening started on the hotel’s terrace, looking out onto the breath-taking view of the infinity pool with the famous Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Reserve (served from magnums) accompanied by a selection of mouth-watering canapés.

The guests then headed down to the restaurant to experience Chef Sadaseewoo Babbo dinner which featured a stunning main course from his repertoire, full of colour, flavour and texture.

The wine pairings for our dinner were provided by Sebastien Leclézio from Bacchanale and Jeff Thomé from Scott. Helpfully, they described the exceptional wines which perfectly accompanied the menu.

Of special note was the Santenay 1er cru - a Red Burgundy made from 100% Pinot Noir - which was a delicious partner with the duck.

Before serving the dessert, Bailli Délégué Kareena Neisius thanked Resident Manager Christian Braeu, Chef Sadaseewoo Babbo, and the whole team for the masterfully composed dinner.

Even with all the COVID-19 measures and protocols needing to be strictly respected, it was another successful Chaîne event enjoyed by everyone.

We are now eagerly looking forward to holding our Chapitre on Friday, December 3rd at Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa.
