Canada Chapitre

Bailliage of New Brunswick, Canada
St Andrews (New Brunswick), November 27, 2021

A Gala Induction event
" there was not a more special gesture than this Chapitre to bring to a close the end of the year 2021 "

The Bailliage’s Chapitre took place in the backdrop of the sublime historic resort of the Algonquin Resort Autograph Collection. Located in the community of St Andrews, in the southwest of the province of New Brunswick, this historic property was the perfect place to hold such an evening.

During the Induction Ceremony, 15 members were sworn in by Bailli Délégué Tony Catanese who was supported by Bailli Cornel Ceapa.

Following the ceremony, the Gala Dinner hosted by James May, Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director of The Algonquin, featured a tasty, multi-course menu with flavours from across our province. It was a grandiose way of honouring our global gastronomic association, as more than 30 guests feasted on judicious pairings of fine wines.

Another highlight of this evening was undoubtedly the sabrage of a Methuselah (6 litres = 8 bottles) of Moët et Chandon Champagne served at the reception. Under the attentive eyes of the group, the cork was expulsed by Bailli Cornel Ceapa. Armed with his sabre he carried out the operation with the precision required by the dexterity of his manoeuvre.

Without a doubt, there was not a more special gesture than this Chapitre to bring to a close the end of the year 2021 activities of the Bailliage of New Brunswick.
