Great food at Jolley's Boathouse Restaurant
" The evening was a great success with our new inductees being warmly welcomed "
The Bailliage organised a wonderful Chapitre at Torrens Rowing Club on the River Torrens. The celebratory black-tie dinner following the Induction Ceremony was held in the adjacent Jolley’s Boathouse Restaurant - an Adelaide icon synonymous with excellent service and great food.
The Induction Ceremony was presided over by Bailli Délégué Norm Harrison, in his capacity as a Member of the Conseil Magistral. Norm had the support of National Officers, namely Chancelier Sam Giddings, Conseiller Gastronomique Dennis Mather and Échanson John Studdert, together with Serena Harrison-North who is Bailli of South Australia.
Sixteen new members were inducted with five promotions and nine awards presented for service to the Chaîne. Of particular note in the list of promotions was Daman Shrivastav who became Bailli of Victoria.
The venue was filled to capacity. Champagne Castelnau and canapés were served at the reception. The evening progressed with a Chef’s tasting menu accompanied by fine wines.
