On Saturday, April 23rd, Bailliage members and their guests gathered at A bản Restaurant in Hanoi to celebrate a green-themed World Chaîne Day event.

A bản, a culturally significant restaurant in Vietnam, represents the cuisine of four of the 51 minority groups present in Vietnam, namely Muong, Thái, Hmong and Tày. All four reside in the mountainous, lush landscapes of northern Vietnam, near the Chinese border.

Attendees enjoyed nibbling on canapés supplied by the restaurant while sipping Jacob’s Creek Moscato Sparkling Rosé, Iron Balls gin and tonics, and a green signature cocktail made with the green-bottled, cardamom-flavoured Absolut Extrakt vodka.

During the event, guests were treated to door prizes and giveaways while they discussed the delicious food served, greening the planet, and each other’s green-themed clothing.

The afternoon truly epitomized the Vietnamese concept of “ăn ngon mặc đẹp” - the enjoyment of delicious food in impeccable style. Some participants even stayed to enjoy dinner, making a truly memorable and successful event.

After the lengthy pandemic restrictions, the Bailliage is fully “open for business” once again with events planned in four cities this year.
