Château du Mylord excels once again
" The reputation of the prestigious Le Château du Mylord .. has never failed over a period of 40 years "
The tradition in the Bailliage of Belgium had been that every year our Conseiller Culinaire, Jean-Baptiste Thomaes of the Michelin 2-star Château du Mylord, organised a Gala weekend in conjunction with a number of sponsors, the proceeds of which went to the Association Caritative de la Chaîne (ACCR).
However, due to the pandemic, this event did not take place for several years. In the meantime, the National Council revised the plan so that the weekend was transformed into a celebration of the Chaîne in Belgium - and in general - in order to eventually recruit new members.
Château du Mylord invited its loyal customers to a menu at an advantageous price. Chevalier Jan De Kimpe prepared an excellent display to showcase the Chaîne together a beautiful film of the Chaîne. Some other members were on hand to speak to the guests to familiarise them with the Chaîne.
These members were:
Heike Cottray, Bailli Délégué Honoraire of the Principality of Monaco
Michel Cottray. Member Honoraire of the Conseil Magistral & Bailli Délégué Honoraire of France

Jelbrich Hendrickx, Chargé de Missions
Kurt Van Tendeloo, Chevalier

The reputation of the prestigious Le Château du Mylord, where the culinary art goes hand in hand with daily routine, has never failed over a period of 40 years. Jean-Baptiste Thomaes and his team regularly receive awards for their continuous work, consistent quality and professionalism. And so it was on the occasion of our “promoting the Chaîne” event.
Vive la Chaîne!
