After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions, our Bailliage was finally able conduct a Chapitre at the Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay.

We were very honoured to have International Vice-President Marie Jones preside over the Induction Ceremony.

One of our members achieved the heady milestone of Officier Commander (30 years) while another seven were awarded their Commandeur (20 year) badges.

It was a very proud moment for several fathers as their sons were inducted as new members.

Norm Harrison, Bailli Délégué of Australia who is a Member of the Conseil Magistral, was also in attendance. Furthermore, several members had travelled from Australia to receive their awards and ribbons. Additionally, members from Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and China were there to enjoy the festivities.

The highlight of the evening was a Black-tie Gala Dinner at which each table was presented with three varieties of caviar in 500-gram tins.

The Chefs from the Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay outdid themselves with an exquisite menu paired with wines from the Bailliage’s cellar.

It was certainly a wonderful evening and the first step to normalcy after the years of restrictions.
