Close to stars on the 8th floor
" it is already known in Chaîne circles beyond our Bailliage's borders that the kitchen is close to stars "
With sunshine and warm summer temperatures, Bailli Claas Plesch was able to welcome members and numerous guests from other Bailliages with a fruity aperitif on the roof terrace of the Restaurant High Kitchen in Magdeburg.
The restaurant, under the direction of Executive Chef Denny Mette, Maître Rôtisseur, was fully booked. Why? Because it is already known in Chaîne circles beyond our Bailliage’s borders that the kitchen is close to stars. Not only because of its location, but also because of its outstanding culinary performance.
And so this year Chef Denny wowed the group with a grandiose menu consisting of kingfish with rhubarb, guinea fowl with wild asparagus and morels as well as lamb for the main course, followed by two dessert courses and one cheese course. All prepared and served to the highest level.
The accompanying drinks included wines from France and Spain as well as an orange wine from Italy, a white Port, and Quinquina - an aromatised liqueur wine from Corsica.
At the end of the evening a big thank you went to the entire team for a wonderful and enjoyable dinner.
