Chevalier Lino Bilber Gonçalves has been a member of the Chaîne since 2020. Recently, at the invitation of Bailli Délégué Paulo Amado, he was asked to be part of the Supervisory Board of the Bailliage of Portugal.

With a law degree, Lino is Managing Partner of LM Protection, an insurance consultancy specialising in hotels and restaurants.

Lino was attracted to Chaîne by three aspects: the longevity of the association, the opportunity to meet people who had other ways of thinking and being, as well as an approach to Portuguese gastronomy.

Lino believes that there should be greater focus on the promotion of regions and the creation of events that go "beyond the dinner itself," providing moments for reflection and the exchange of ideas, as well as learning about design methods and the product itself.

He hopes to see more openness and the inclusion of individuals with new ideas and an active desire to participate within the association.
