This year, 50 members and guests from bailliages across Macau, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Shanghai gathered for a two-day celebration of World Chaîne Day at the Grand Coloane Resort.
The festivities began with a traditional dinner honouring the art of Rôtisserie - the very foundation of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. This extraordinary culinary journey featured specialties from four continents and nine countries, including Thailand, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brazil, Argentina, the USA, France, and Spain. Each dish was thoughtfully paired with exceptional wines from Portugal, Australia, the USA, and Argentina.
Presented in a semi-buffet style, the dinner offered guests a chance to savour exotic flavours alongside exquisite wine pairings. Set against a lush tropical backdrop, the evening unfolded in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere, meticulously crafted by the Grand Coloane Resort team.
For those who opted for the "staycation" experience, the morning of the 27th began with a lavish Champagne Breakfast. Three renowned Champagne Houses were featured, accompanied by hotel specialties such as fresh oysters, eggs Benedict, house-made yogurts, and an array of delicate pastries.
Beyond the indulgence, this event strengthened bonds among attendees, fostering deeper connections between Bailliages across the region.
