Following the decision by Daniel Kang’u to stand down as Bailli Délégué, after due reflection the National Board proposed Chargée de Missions Kainembabazi Sabiti to be his replacement with the task of taking the Bailliage forward building on its firm foundations.

Kainembabazi is a travel professional, a multi-lingual Travel Manager with over 20 years’ experience in the airline and global travel industry. She started her career in the airline industry where she worked in sales and customer service for two international airlines.

She then joined Amadeus, the travel technology company, as Country Manager for three East African countries and rose up the ranks to the position of Regional Marketing Manager for the East Africa, where she grew the business portfolios.

An expert in branding, marketing and communications, Kainembabazi prides herself on being innovative and creative in growing the business portfolio and providing workable solutions that add value to the business.

In 2022 she founded Minerva Consult, where she provides travel services as well as translation and training services to individuals and corporations.

Chaîne career
Kainembabazi joined as a Dame de la Chaîne in February 2009 - effectively therefore she is a founder member. She was promoted to be a Chargée de Missions in 2022. At the meeting in Paris on June 5th, the International Board unanimously approved the proposal made by the National Board of the Bailliage of Uganda that she should become the next Bailli Délégué.
