Glittering revival of the Chaîne in Tunisia

Each passing season reminds us how precious our mission is: to keep alive, to pass on and to celebrate the excellence of gastronomy, the joy of conviviality and the respect for culinary traditions that unite us within the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
Such was the case on April 19th at the One Resort Premium in Hammamet, where our Chapitre proved to be a truly exceptional evening, gathering 54 guests around a menu crafted with care by Chef Zouheir Ben Tekaya.
The Induction Ceremony officially marked the revival and renewed radiance of the Chaîne in Tunisia.
In an atmosphere both solemn and festive, we had the honour of welcoming new members from the worlds of gastronomy and hospitality, as well as passionate enthusiasts and lovers of life - all bound together by shared values of excellence, transmission and conviviality.
The ceremony was followed by a Gala Dinner where the brigade highlighted, with both creativity and elegance, two treasures of Tunisian terroir: Mloukhiya, made entirely from jute leaves, and Charmoula, prepared mainly with onions and raisins. Music, fraternity, and above all, heartfelt emotions filled the evening.
It is worth noting that our Chapitre carried a profoundly human dimension, under the banner of love and joy! The bonds between members grew stronger, perfectly embodying the spirit of the Chaîne: gastronomy as a source of emotions, of sharing, and above all, of lasting memories.
Among the most memorable moments:
- The presentation of certificates of recognition and merit by our dear Bailli Délégué, Mounir El Arem, to former National Officers - a powerful gesture of continuity, respect, and the weaving of lasting relationships. This symbolic moment was deeply appreciated for its human and fraternal significance.
- The celebration of the 22nd wedding anniversary of our Argentier, Akram Chérif, with his wife Bochra - a union honoured with joy and sincerity.
- And the joyful celebration of Akram’s birthday, marked with fraternal warmth and heartfelt wishes.
Our vision for the future of the reborn National Bailliage is built around gastronomic excellence, the promotion of our culinary heritage and the welcoming of a new generation of passionate members - professionals and enlightened enthusiasts alike.
