Join us for a unique hospitality experience created by VIVES LoReCa students. Since 2021, VIVES LoReCa - the department of Hospitality, Restaurant & Catering at VIVES University of Applied Sciences - has proudly organised the Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs and Jeunes Sommeliers National Competitions for the Bailliage of Belgium.
As a graduation project, the students take over an entire hotel for the weekend. Second-year students serve as managers, whilst first-year students operate as staff. Their talent, dedication and excellence in L’Art de la Table are at the heart of these events.
Winter Wonderland programme
Held at the WP Cavalli Hotel in Blankenberge (10 minutes from Bruges). The rooms at this modern 3-star hotel offer everything you need for a delightful stay on the coast. You will feel at home immediately thanks to the hotel’s cosiness and comfort. Cost: €385 per person sharing double room.
Friday, December 12th
Arrival and check-in at the hotel. The evening starts with a welcoming drink. Dinner will be a North Sea seafood platter with perfectly paired wines. Please let us know of any allergies and dietary requirements which will be accommodated.
Saturday, December 13th
Start the day with breakfast buffet. Then decide which option you’ll choose for the day:
- visit Blankenberge Christmas Market
- or a day trip to Bruges (only 10 minutes by train)
- or a seaside walk or relax in the spa
An early dinner at the hotel will be followed by a VIP evening at Het Witte Paard Winterland Show. Included are VIP seats and a ½ bottle of Champagne per person.
Sunday, December 14th
A leisurely breakfast before checking out.
