Ayinger Private Brewery
Founded in 1878 by Johann Liebhard, the brewery has always stood for Bavarian brewing tradition and craftsmanship of the highest quality. Today, the family business is run by the seventh generation, Franz Inselkammer III. The beers are brewed in accordance with the German Beer Purity Law of 1516. Short supply routes, close and long-standing cooperation with regional suppliers, and the responsible use of resources characterise the brewery’s approach.
The combination of traditional brewing craftsmanship and modern technology provides the foundation for the consistently high quality of Ayinger beers which is regularly confirmed by awards at international competitions. The range includes a wide selection of classic and seasonal beer specialities. The brewing water plays a particularly important role: it comes from the brewery’s own deep wells. Thanks to its exceptional quality, provides ideal conditions for the brewing process.
Regular brewery tours give visitors an insight into the production process and the philosophy of the brewery, allowing them to experience at close quarters the combination of tradition, regionality and contemporary brewing craftsmanship.
Ayinger Lager Hell
The classic beer of the Ayinger Private Brewery: a bottom-fermented, pale full-bodied lager (4.9% alc., 11.8° Plato) with a refined recipe is distinguished by its beautiful bright golden colour. Following an initial gentle maltiness, the Lager Hell develops a pleasant hop bitterness. Its excellent carbonation and subtle finish leave a delicate trace of bitterness on the tongue and palate. A full-bodied, fresh and highly drinkable beer.
