The family-run Ellermann-Spiegel Winery is located in the idyllic village of Kleinfischlingen, home to just 300 residents, along the Southern Wine Route in the Palatinate.

Here, Chaîne Professional member Frank Spiegel creates wines with passion and expertise that capture the soul of the region. Frank’s journey, shaped by experience at renowned wineries and enriched by his studies in Germany and France, forms the essence of what Ellermann-Spiegel represents today: a winery that honours tradition while forging new paths.

Frank says: ‘We put our heart and soul into what we do. We firmly believe that the finest wines are the perfect companions to culinary highlights and unforgettable moments.’

Quality is at the heart of Frank’s approach to winemaking, with every detail carefully considered from the selection of the grapes through to the vinification. The focus is on Burgundy varieties, while international grapes such as Syrah and Viognier are also cultivated here. Today, the Ellermann-Spiegel name stands for exceptional wines that delight wine lovers around the world.

In his very first year, Frank Spiegel succeeded in placing his wines in several Michelin-starred restaurants. Today, Ellermann-Spiegel wines can be found in numerous prestigious establishments, both nationally and internationally. Since September 2025, the winery has moved to a new location: the beautiful WINDROSE wine shop and tasting room, situated amid the vineyards with magnificent views across the Palatinate Forest.
