The 11th anniversary of our National Bailliage was duly celebrated at the Stikliai Hotel & Restaurant in Vilnius. A “Relais & Châteaux” accredited establishment owned by Bailli Délégué Romualdas Zakarevicius, the Stiklai has been at the heart of Chaîne activities since the Confrérie was introduced to Lithuania in 2006.
During the Chapitre, 16 new members were solemnly inducted. Lithuania now numbers 88 members, split 25% Professionals and 75% Non-Professionals all of whom are of course food enthusiasts.
After the Induction Ceremony the festive evening continued in the Stikliai’s restaurant with the reception followed by dinner. The cuisine under the direct supervision of Romualdas Zakarevičius was to its acknowledged high standard.

The restaurant’s Sommelier had conjured up a most appropriate selection of fine beverages to accompany the repast.
The Stiklai building is beautiful. When the warmth of welcome and the fine cuisine are added to the visual treat presented by the exterior, you can see why so many famous people have stayed at the hotel and why the Bailliage regularly returns for its events.
