The Bailliage celebrates in red, blue and gold!
" Members got into the World Chaîne Day mood by posing for photographs with enthusiasm "

While Bailliages around the world were planning their own special celebrations for World Chaîne Day 2019, India celebrated in style and colour at Olive Beach, the Mediterranean fine-dining restaurant in Bengaluru.

The restaurant was bedecked in the Chaîne colours of red, blue and gold. Members also played their part by dressing in keeping with the theme. Maître Rôtisseur Manu Chandra and his team had planned a delicious and festive Sunday brunch. Colourful gin-based cocktails infused with fresh fruit and herbs set the tone for a festive afternoon.

Members got into the World Chaîne Day mood by posing for photographs with enthusiasm and finesse. Delicious hors d’oeuvres like omelette sliders with truffle aioli, lamb shish taouk skewers, zahtar and saffron honey, and slow smoked pork rib off the bone with miso chili, glaze did the rounds along with a special cheese and salami board.

The mains included ballotine of chicken with house-grown sage and sourdough stuffing, Beef Wellington with three pepper jus.

A laden dessert trolley finished up the indulgent repast.

It was truly a happy and relaxed afternoon of camaraderie and enjoyment in the true spirit of the Chaîne. Photos were uploaded to social media with the World Chaîne Day hashtags to show the great time had by all!
