At La Bête Steakhouse & Cigar Lounge
" there was an impressive selection of wines and beverages "
Under the sign of the Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMGD), the Bailliage hosted a sold-out dinner (there were 20 seats only) at La Bête Steakhouse & Cigar Lounge in Hanoi.
Given that it was an OMGD event, naturally there was an impressive selection of wines and beverages for the members and their distinguished guests to enjoy.
The five-course dinner, presented by Executive Chefs Đoàn Tuấn and Nguyễn Viết Tuấn, featured dry-aged meats that are unique to Vietnam. The wine-pairings were provided by The Warehouse Hanoi.
Established in 2001, The Warehouse is one of the leading wine importers and distributors in Vietnam with a list comprising 1000+ wines from 16 countries around the world. The Warehouse is also Vietnam’s exclusive distributor of crystal glassware brand Schott Zwiesel from Germany.
La Bête (Lit. English: The Animal) makes a speciality of its meat. Their beef and pork are dry-aged in Himalayan salt and environment-controlled for 28 days. The result is the tenderness and multi-flavour of the meats that their clients may well have never experienced before.
