Summer cruise aboard True North
" relaxing afternoon of friendship, food, and wine "
On a stunning summer Saturday afternoon with clear blue skies and a gentle cooling breeze, members and invited guests boarded True North, a mono-hull adventure yacht specialising in lavish style discovery voyages around the Australian coastline.
Anticipated relaxing afternoon of friendship, food, and wine began with glasses of chilled sparkling from Wise Wines, one of Margaret River’s finest. We felt special already particularly when we explored the luxurious interior.
To our delight, Tony Isle shucked freshest farmed Albany Rock oysters against the West Australian coastline’s backdrop. Naturally perfect from Southern Ocean’s unspoilt waters the oysters were plump, deliciously creamy, with a hint of sea salt and a lingering savoury taste.
Leaving Fremantle, we headed north towards Cottesloe. The attentive crew commenced serving our relaxed lunch of quality food from locally-sourced produce prepared by passionate Chefs Amanda Ivankovic and Luke Pursell.
Throughout the day, guests were lavished with a choice of beverages to pair with the food offerings. Including selections of wine and artisanal gin provided by our wonderful friends at Wise Wines.

Chicken Teriyaki, sticky rice, sesame slaw
Silky dark chocolate tart with fresh berries
Sweet sticky mini Pavlovas with Chantilly cream
Yuzu curd, fresh strawberries

all were lovely and thirst quenching on such a warm day!
