Announcing the new Bailli
" His goal: to further raise the profile of the region and the Chaîne for fine dining and to promote young, talented chefs throughout the country "
Ulrich Wiesenewsky has been promoted to be the new Bailli of the Bailliage Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Stepping up from his role as Vice-Chargé de Missions, he has taken over the helm from Hans Pape.
A member since 2023, Ulrich was elected the new Bailli at the annual assembly of the Bailliage of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on December 8th in Rostock.
His goal: to further raise the profile of the region and the Chaîne for fine dining and to promote young, talented chefs throughout the country.
In his professional life, Ulrich has more than 25 years of experience in advising insurance companies in strategy development and implementation in the CEEMEA (Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
A German state in the north-east of the country, Mecklenburg-Pommern is a land of:
- diversity and grace;
- vast landscapes, gentle hills and beautiful coastlines;
- ancient traditions;
- a great history including several important Hanseatic cities;
- culture, education, and hospitality.
Mecklenburg-Pommern might not have the largest number of Chaîne establishments in Germany but those it does have possess heart and are involved with love and dedication. They are committed first and foremost to quality and service or to put it another way, they live the soul of the Chaîne just as has been done since 1248.
Understandably, the Bailliage of Mecklenburg-Pommern is proud of this diversity!
