On April 25th, the Bailliage of Istanbul organized a dinner attended by 224 members and guests at the beautiful Esma Sultan Mansion to celebrate World Chaîne Day (WCD).

Dating from 1875 and originally presented to Princess Esma Sultan as a wedding gift, the historic mansion, named after the daughter of the 32nd Ottoman ruler Sultan Abdülaziz, has witnessed numerous significant events and notable figures over time.

The iconic establishment, rich with cultural heritage, stands as a testament to the grandeur of the Ottoman era. Today, it serves as a premier venue for events and weddings, offering a unique blend of history and elegance in the heart of Istanbul. Now operated by The Marmara Taksim Hotel, the mansion offers stunning views over the Bosphorus.

Guests enjoyed a reception on the outdoor terrace featuring Vinkara Yasasin sparkling wine, after which a six-course menu was served with matching wines.

The multitude of diners were overwhelmingly appreciative of the opportunity to celebrate WCD at such an iconic venue with taste buds definitely in overload with such a fantastic menu for such a wonderful 10th anniversary celebration.
